We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Janitor to join our team.
As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities.
This is an important role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our employees and visitors.
Duties:
- Perform general janitorial duties, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming - Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas - Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished - Follow established safety guidelines and protocols while performing cleaning tasks - Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or fixing minor plumbing issues - Assist with setting up meeting rooms or event spaces as needed Requirements:
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or janitorial work preferred - Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing - Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required - Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively Skills:
