Electrical Design Engineer
Prepares and designs detailed drawings of main and sub-assemblies, parts and components
Participate in all design reviews to meet standards and client specifications
Creates master document lists, check lists, and BOMs
Check drawings, calculations, and details performed by others
Responsible for all models, designs and assemblies for all projects
Lead team of designers and drafters
Participate in pre-design, client meetings, and product delivery meetings
Coordinate project schedules with purchasing, engineering and shop teams
Produce and maintain accurate project timelines to meet deadlines and on time delivery to clients
Requirements
Associate Degree in Engineering or related field; prefer Bachelor Degree
5 plus years of design experience with 3 years of supervisory experience
Strong experience with electrical Schematics
Computer literate with AutoCAD and Microsoft products
Knowledge of standards and codes for metal fabrication
Knowledge of control panel design, motor controls, and power distribution is a plus
Proven ability to lead and coach a team to success
Able to travel - national and international
Must possess a US passport, or the ability to obtain a US passport without restrictions
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
